Steven Adamczyk, DO, is an emergency physician, healthcare executive, and medical communications specialist based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. With more than two decades in clinical medicine, he began his career in emergency departments in 2004 and went on to spend over 10 years caring for patients with Independent Emergency Physicians. His frontline experience informs his current leadership as chief executive officer of Wellcore Health, where he oversees daily operations, shapes marketing and growth strategies, and leads initiatives to enhance patient engagement and client satisfaction.
Beyond his executive role, Dr. Adamczyk is an active medical writer, editor, and consultant. He edits clinical content for WebChartMD, creates marketing content for ViralMD, and serves as a consultant to Adtalem Global Education, developing educational materials that help medical students connect complex concepts to real-world practice.
Previously, as a medical and healthcare advisor to Rock Ventures in Detroit, he helped design and implement innovative health solutions, including a 17,000-square-foot integrated care center and a pathway for employees to access mental health and ancillary services. These projects reflect his ongoing commitment to expanding access to coordinated, patient-centered care.Dr. Adamczyk earned his osteopathic medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he later held an assistant professor appointment, and completed prior studies in physiology at MSU’s Lyman Briggs School and basic medical sciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
